UNIFORM

At DESS our traditional, yet modern, uniforms are designed with the local climate in mind. Wearing the DESS uniform gives our students the feeling that we all belong to one community. It is important to preserve the appearance of the uniform to have consistency across the School, this allows all students to look smart and feel confident. 

DESS requires all students to wear our school uniform, which can be purchased exclusively from Zaks Uniform Shop at www.zaksstore.com.

Further Information

Modesty swimsuits, shoes, trainers, socks, grey or white tights, and charcoal grey skirts, skorts, shorts, and trousers are exceptions and may be sourced from other retailers. 

PE kit, swimming kit, PE bag, book bag (FS1-Y2), DESS backpacks, and school hats are also available for purchase at Zaks.

As students progress through Upper School, a notable transition occurs in Year 7 and 8, marked by a change in uniform. This change distinguishes them as senior students, reflecting their status and marking a significant milestone in their academic journey. This policy outlines the specific attire expected for these year groups, including any changes or additions to the standard uniform.
